How is a car buying concierge different from a car broker?

A car buying concierge is a service professional working on behalf of the client to negotiate a better deal for our client so that they drive away happy in a new vehicle.  A car broker often holds an inventory of cars or acts as an agent for a particular car dealer or chain of dealers with the aim of selling cars that offer the best margin and availability. At HCIHU we live by the rule – if we don’t find the best car for you we aren’t doing our job.

How is a car buying concierge different from a car dealer?

HCIHU is a car buying concierge service that has a passion for two things above all else – Customer Service and Motor Vehicles! We combine the motivation to help our amazing customers with our interest in all things automotive to help bring you the most satisfying car buying experience available. We are here to help our clients realise their goals and get what they want out of the car buying process. We aren’t bound by sales targets, stock we need to find room for (and make payments on), rent in our expensive showrooms and huge marketing costs. The dealer’s primary role is to sell you a car – that’s why they are in business and we say fair enough; however, they are limited with their resources and they represent only their own brand. At HCIHU we help you with true comparisons and guidance built on years of experience, years spent comparing deals and researching vehicles.

We help add clarity to your car buying process, we make sure you have all the information you need to make a great choice and we only work with a network of professional, experienced dealers who can supply the right car at the right price. No more games, no more undelivered promises – real value for real clients buying great cars.

Why would car dealers offer a better deal to HCIHU clients?

Car dealers carry monthly overheads including showroom rents, wages, finance on their in-stock vehicles and so on. This can put pressure on the dealers to move stock regardless of the fit for the customer or the circumstances – their objective is to sell cars 1st, 2nd and 3rd! We take advantage of their motivation to sell cars and help cut through the costly procedure of getting people to buy their cars. We introduce them to clients who have made their product choice and are ready to buy. Dealers are often happy to reduce their margins for a bona fide customer. We work with dealers daily to ensure they continue the chain of premium service offered by HCIHU to our clients and ensure we only partner with dealers who share our service principles.

What is in it for HCIHU?

At HCIHU we are passionate about helping people find value in their car purchases.  We are committed to ensuring every one of our customers is satisfied with the service they receive from us, the supplying dealer and any service partners we may refer.

We believe it’s possible that all parties benefit from the buying experience.  For the dealer, they now have one less vehicle to maintain, insure and market in their showroom.  There’s profit in the deal and they are also one sale closer to meeting their monthly sales targets. Upon completion of the deal HCIHU invoices the dealer a nominal “service charge” or “referral fee”. Further details are available in our Client Terms and Conditions.

For the client we aim to bring clarity to the buying experience and provide a better deal so you can drive away happy.  If you successfully arrange a new car purchase with HCIHU and take delivery of your new vehicle, you (the client) will have your HCIHU service fee fully refunded*.

Do you only assist buying new (or near new) vehicles?

Currently HCIHU is focused on delivering the best new car buying outcomes for clients. New and near new cars offer the following benefits that aren’t always attainable when shopping for pre-owned vehicles.

  • Manufacturer’s warranty – Motor Vehicle brands offer the best warranties on their new vehicles. We only work with brands that have a track record of honouring their warranty claims and ensuring that any issues are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
  • Competitive Finance – Generally speaking motor vehicle finance for new vehicles is approved quicker and with lower interest rates than are available to most used car buyers.
  • The latest safety features – new cars are evolving at a rate never seen before.  The technology age has allowed for amazing advances in both active and passive safety features.  New cars are often equipped with an entire suite of  features designed to protect you and your loved ones.
  • Efficiency and performance – new cars are far more fuel efficient than in the past.  Coupled with significant advances in on-road performance this means that many current four cylinder offerings are better than their V8 counterparts from only 10 years ago!

Can you help sell my current vehicle/trade-in?

As part of making your car buying experience the best you’ve ever had we are here to help you realise the best value for your trade-in. We utilise a network of wholesale vehicle buyers, dealers and private buyers to make sure you are always in the driver’s seat when it comes to value.

What are Customer Referral Rewards?

The How Can I Help You? car buying service is founded upon, and grows via, positive Word of Mouth Marketing.  We love our happy clients to spread the word to their network of family and friends.  Our Customer Referral Rewards provide a reward for those clients who refer a new customer to the HCIHU concierge service who then proceed to make a successful vehicle purchase.  The rewards change monthly as we run exciting new promotions so please reach out to us for more info.

Is this service only available to clients in the state of Queensland?

Due to state-based fair trading regulations we currently only offer our service to residents of Queensland.

If I am not happy with your service, do I get a refund?
Absolutely. We take pride in our ability to deliver quality results. If for whatever reason you are not happy, and find that a significantly better deal could’ve been had elsewhere, we will refund the fee you’ve paid.
